Sisters of Element is the first book in a series about the Luna sisters, four Mexican American young women living in present day Percival Falls, Washington. Lina, Val, Zo and Rory Luna have special abilities based on the elements: water, fire, air, & earth.

1/15/23 - Thanks for your patience and excitement for Book 2 in the Sisters of Element series! I began writing it prior to the pandemic, and then the project was put on hold during COVID while our family navigated a new normal, job changes, health challenges, and personal losses. While Book 2 is still on the horizon with the expected launch date of late 2024, I am thrilled to share that I am currently working on a play adaption of Sisters of Element with the Olympia Family Theater. The play will be a prequel to the series, sharing more about the Luna sisters in their earlier years. We expect to bring it to the stage in late 2024 or early 2025, so stay tuned for updates!

Thanks to our community, we raised over $3,500 to pay for the first print run of books, book cover art, and editing. The campaign ran on indiegogo from May to June 2019 and gained 76 backers. Supporters received limited edition artwork designed by PinkPolish Design, signed books, and special acknowledgements.
